ChinaNANO 2007was held in Beijing International Conference Center from 4th June to 6th June, 2007. Researchers from Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry (TIPC ) were awarded two of the twenty best poster awards which were voted by the Conference Science Committee for about 1000 posters. Chairman Lichun Bai, who is the administrative vice-dean of Chinese Academy of Sciences, awarded the certificate for the awardees.
Miss Xianzi Dong, Assistant researcher from Laboratory of Organic Nanophotonics (LaONP) , presented a paper titled as Micronanofabrication of three-dimensional microstructures with designable multiple-beam two-photon processing. In the paper, multi-focus lasering fabrication method was designed and presented; the combination fabrication of three dimensional micro/nanostructure at nano scale was realized and the fabrication and assembling problem of micro/nano-scaled components was solved. The poster was attracted the attention and appraise of the participators in the conference and obtained the best poster award in the office representatives.
Miss Qi Ya, a doctoral student from LaONP, presented a paper titled as Light Tunable Photonic Band-Gap in 3D Photonic Crystal. In the paper, three dimensional photonic crystals containing azobenzene chromophore were fabricated using two photon induced polymerization. The photonic bandgap was tunable under the irradiation of UV light, which presented a novel route for designing of photonic devices, like switches, based on the photonic crystals. The poster was awarded in the student representatives.
