On Nov. 2, 2008, Prof. Xuesong Wang from the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was awarded the Asian and Oceanian Photochemistry Association Prize for Yung Scientist (APA Prize for Young Scientist). This prize was set up in 2005, aiming to award the young Asian scientists who have done excellent research work in the field of photophysics and photochemistry. The prize is issued to 6 people each time every three years. Prof. Xuesong Wang is the first young scientist to receive such an honorable prize in the mainland of China. |
