| On Nov. 2, 2008, Prof. Chen-Ho Tung from the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, CAS, was awarded the Asian and Oceanian Photochemistry Association Prize for Achievements (APA Award) for his achievements in microreactor-controlled selectivity in photochemical reactions and photoinduced electron transfer, energy transfer in supramolecular systems. This prize was set up in 2005, aiming to award the Asian scientists who have done excellent research work in the field of photophysics and photochemistry. The prize is issued to 3 people each time every three years. Prof. Chen-Ho Tung is the first scientist to receive such an honorable prize in the mainland of China. |
