Having signed the international contract of “Conceptual design of the Seven Cold Boxes” between TIPC (Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry，CAS) and ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor), TIPC hosted a kick-off video meeting between both sides from November 24 to 26, 2009. Dr. L. Serio and Dr. M. Chalifour from ITER IO deliberately came to TIPC to chair this meeting.

The aim of this meeting is to clear the input technical requirements, working schedule, organization, communication and reporting, etc. of this contract and launch this project. The meeting was held in a cordial and friendly atmosphere with efficient communications between the participants from both sides.
