Prof. Che-Ming Che and Prof. A.L. Roy Vellaisamy, from City University of Hong Kong paid a visit to Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (TIPC) on April 26. Prof. FU Wenfu and other researchers of Key Laboratory of Photochemical Conversion and Optoelectronic Materials, CAS received the guests.
During the visit, Prof. Roy made a lecture on the topic of “Alignment of charged complexes for various applications”. In the lecture, Prof. Roy introduced the latest achievements on the study of this research field. He has also held discussions with the researchers and graduate students on the application of Alignment of charged complexes for various applications.
The main scientific achievements of Prof. Roy focuses in the field of various molecular materials for electronic device applications, such as Thin Film Transistors (TFTs), Photovoltaics and LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes). His research is interdisciplinary and it’s a blend of Physics, Materials Science, Engineeringand Biology. |
