Invited by Functional Nanomaterials Laboratory, TIPC, CAS, Dr. Shigenori FUJIKAWA of RIKEN visited TIPC on October 27, 2009, and gave a lecture entitled “Free-Standing Ultrathin Membranes as a New Class of Nanomaterrial” to researchers and students.

In the lecture, Dr. FUJIKAWA introduced their latest developments, including the preparation, patterning, and properties of free-standing ultrathin membranes. The lecture aroused high interested among the audience. After the lecture, Dr. FUJIKAWA visited Functional Nanomaterials Laboratory, and had more detailed discussion with members of the research group on related subjects.
