Prof. L. Isaenko from Institute of Geology & Mineralogy, SB RAS paid a visit to Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry (TIPC),CAS on Aug.17, 2010 and gave a wonderful lecture entitled “Creation of nonlinear/laser crystals optimized for special applications”.

In the lecture, Prof. L. Isaenko introduced her team’s progress on exploring, growth and characterization of nonlinear optical crystal, including research on growth and characterization of UV nonlinear laser crystal such as LBO & CLBO crystal and LiBC2 crystal and MPbHal2 crystal (M=K, Rb; HaI=Cl, Br) which can be used in the infrared bands.

Prof. L. Isaenko’s research interests are exploring, growth and characterization of laser crystal & nonlinear optical crystal, etc.
