Invited by Key Laboratory of Functional Crystals and Laser Technology, Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (TIPC, CAS), Prof. Colin Greaves from University of Birmingham visited TIPCCAS on Nov. 25 and gave an academic report entitled Control of Electrical and Magnetic Properties of Low Dimensional A2BO4 Oxides.
In the report, Prof Colin Greaves introduced the preparation and structure characterization of A2BO4 and the potential practical values in ionic conductor.
Colin Greaves was appointed professor of Solid State Chemistry at University of Birmingham from 1997. His research focuses on high temperature superconductivity, structures and electrical/magnetic properties of mixed metal oxides, oxide-fluorides and oxide-oxyanion phases, electrolytes and electrodes for solid oxide fuel cells. He has published more than 200 papers in quality, refereed scientific journals.
