Invited by Key Laboratory of Photochemical Conversion and Optoelectronic Materials, Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences ( TIPC, CAS), Prof. Yoshihisa Inoue from Deakin University visited TIPC, CAS on May. 10 and gave a lecture entitled Supramolecular Photochirogenesis with Cyclic Oligosaccharides.
In the lecture, Prof. Yoshihisa Inoue introduced the photodimerization reaction of 2-Anthracenecarboxylic acid in different host cavities.
Prof. Yoshihisa got his Ph.D. degree at Osaka University in 1977. He is a professor of Department of Applied Chemistry, Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University right now. Prof. Yoshihisa is chiefly engaged in the research on supramolecular photochemistry.
