Invited by National Engineering Research Center of Engineering Plastics, Dr. Lichen Yin from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA visited TIPC,CAS on August, 26 and gave an acdemic report entitled Non-Viral Gene Therapy Mediated by Cationic Helical Polypeptides. Dr. Lichen Yin is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. His research focuses on improving the therapeutic efficacy of biomacromolecular drugs (protein, peptide, nucleic acid) using novel delivery systems, such as superporous hydrogels, multi-functional nanoparticles, cationic helical polypeptides, and water-soluble polyesters. The in vitro and in vivo efficacy, mechanisms. |
