On 18 January 2016, 22 Austrian experts on advanced materials visited the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (TIPCCAS) , where they were warmly welcomed by the Deputy Director of TIPCCAS, Prof WANG Pengfei.

Dr. ZHANG Yang, Vice Director of the Division of Science and Technology, gave an introduction. After a visit through some of TIPCCAS’ state-of-the labs, the Austrian representatives actively engaged with matching Chinese researchers in Science-2-Science and B2B talks. 

The visit of the Austrian delegation led by Mr Alexander Pogany from the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT) is organized by OSTA in cooperation with Advantage Austria.
