Prof. Gadhiraju Venkatarathnam from Indian Institute of Technology Madras Visited TIPC

Invited by the CAS Key Laboratory of Cryogenics and the TIPC Youth Forum, Prof. Venkatarathnam from Indian Institute of Technology Madras visited TIPC from 22th May to 29th, and delivered three lectures entitled “Mixed Refrigerant Technology activities at IIT Madras”, “Vapor absorption refrigeration systems operating with ionic liquids and ammonia as the refrigerant” and “Density Marching Method for phase envelopes” at TIPC. 

Prof. Venkatarathnam is a world-renowned expert in the field of cryogenic engineering and liquefaction of natural gas. During these lectures, Prof. Venkatarathnam presented his latest research on the development of thermodynamics of mixtures, new refrigeration and liquefaction processes operating with mixtures, and the vapor absorption refrigeration systems operating with ionic liquids and ammonia as the refrigerant, and discussed with TIPC faculties and students. 

 Prof. G. Venkatarathnam was giving a report.
