Invited by the CAS Key Laboratory of Photochemical Conversion and Optoelectronic Materials and the TIPC Youth Forum, Prof. Tianquan (Tim) Lian from Emory University delivered a seminar entitled “Controlling Ultrafast Carrier Dynamics at Nanoheterostructures for Efficient Light-driven H2 Generation to Plasmonic Hot Carrier Photocatalysis” at TIPC on July 4th, 2018. Prof. Tianquan (Tim) Lian is world-renowned for his research in ultrafast spectroscopy. During the seminar, he presented his latest research on ultrafast photo-excited electron transfer in 1D and 2D hetero-nanostructures as well as plasma induced interfacial charge transfer in photocatalytic systems. At the end of the lecture, he discussed with TIPC faculties and students and Prof. Wu Li-Zhu awarded him the Future Science & Technology Lecture Invited Speaker trophy.
Prof. Tianquan (Tim) Lian was awarded the Future Science & Technology Lecture Invited Speaker trophy.
