Invited by the CAS Key Laboratory of Photochemical Conversion and Optoelectronic Materials and the TIPC Youth Forum, Prof. Jayaraman Sivaguru from Bowling Green State University delivered a seminar entitled “Strategies for manipulating excited state reactivity and selectivity” at TIPC on Aug 15th, 2018. Prof. Jayaraman Sivaguru is world-renowned for his research in photocatalysis (supramolecular and organic photocatalysis) and light induced asymmetric transformations. During the seminar, he presented his latest research on controlling excited state reactivity leading to stereo-enriched products. At the end of the lecture, he discussed with TIPC faculties and students and Prof. Wu Li-Zhu awarded him the Future Science & Technology Lecture Invited Speaker trophy.
