Invited by the CAS Key Laboratory of Bio-inspired Materials and Interfacial Science and the TIPC Youth Forum, Prof. LU Benzhuo from Institute of Mathematics CAS delivered a seminar entitled “Finite-element simulated electrodiffusion process and its application in biochemical materials” at TIPC on October 31, 2018.  

Professor LU Benzhuo is mainly engaged in the research of simulation of biological ion channels by using numerical method and model gridding for biological molecules. In the talk, Prof. LU presented their recent efforts made to understand the mass transport through ion channels and also their achievement in cloud calculation, the solvation effect of the biological molecular system. Finally, he enthusiastically discussed with faculties and students of TIPC.
