
Wu Yicheng, Member of Chinese Academy of Engineering, graduated from University of Science and Technology of China in 1970 and received the Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry from Fujian Institute of Research on Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1986. From 1981 to 1999 he worked at University of Science and Technology of China, where he was promoted to Professor in 1992. Prof. Wu joined the Beijing Center of Crystal Research and Development, Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2000. His research interests focus on developing nonlinear optical materials, involving the search for novel nonlinear crystals, crystal growth, characterization, structure-properties relation, and etc. Prof. Wu was elected as Member of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2005. |
