Introduction
This group was originated in 2002 from Instant Imaging System Laboratory founded by Professor Ping Chen. The key research area is imaging science and technology, especially in silver halide diffusion transfer reversal system. The research on one-step photographic film and silver halide CTP materials is in the leading position in China. In recent years, the group has undertaken many important projects financially supported by National 863 Project, NNSFC and CAS. The first and second class prize of Science and Technology Awards have been issued to this group by the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Currently, the staff of the group totals 11, including 2 professors and 3 associate professors. The group supervisor is Dr. Shuyun Zhou, and other senior members are Professor Ping Chen, Professor Deshui Zheng, associate professors Xiujie Hu, Liqin Sheng and Chenghua Sun.
There are some advanced instruments in the group, such as AFM, Platform Coating Machine, Plate Setters with Green Laser and Blue Laser.
