About
Brief Introduction:
Laboratory of Organic Nanophotonics is focus on the design and optical functionalized properties of materials, micro/nanofabrication technology, and fabrication processing of optical functionalized devices on the basis of organic photonic functional materials and nanophotonics technology. The destination of the group is supplying and developing the basic scientific and applied technology for informational and biomedical application by exploring the properties of nano-scale optical functionalized materials.
The research interests include optical functionalized polymer materials, laser fabrication, devices processing, real-time cell probing technology, biological fluorescent probes, design and synthesis of photosensitizers for photodynamic therapy. The main work done include chiral helix-alignment organic ionic non-linear optical crystal, novel molecular with strong two photon absorption, three dimensional photonic crystal fabrication, two- and three- dimensional micro/nano structure of semiconductive polymer composite etc. Up to now, publications include 19 papers, 3 patents, 3 chapters and 5 invited international reports. The current laboratory members include 3 staffs, 1 postdoc., 7 doctoral students and 4 masteral students. The graduated members include 2 doctoral students, 4 union-trained masteral students and 3 graduates.
Now the group possesses organic synthesis room, material preparation room, measurement room and optical super-clean room including Ti:Saphire femtosecond laser, YAG nanosecond laser, laser fabrication and measurement system. The processing works reach organic molecular synthesis, material preparation, micro/nanofabrication and investigation of photophysical properties.
