| About |
The Group of Dispersion-systems Chemistry and Materials is established in 1995 and is an underling group of Laboratory of Organic Optoelectronic Functional Materials and Molecular Engineering. The group is mainly involved in the basic and applied researches based on chemistry and photochemistry of dispersion systems, such as controllable preparation, surface and interface properties and environmental effects of small particles and nanostructures, including small composite particles, nanowires, nanofilms. The group is also focusing on developing composite, optoelectronic functional materials, such as photocatalytic materials for cleaning-environments (self-cleaning glass and ceramic, antifogging and self-cleaning coatings), as well electric powders, such as Ag, Cu, Ni, Au metallic particles powder in different scales; Ag/conductors; Ag/nonconductors (glass balls, SiO2, CaCO3, TiO2 and so on) powders. More than 170 research papers have been published in worldwide journals and 7 patents have been authorized. There are 13 members in the group；the director of the group is Prof. Chun-yan Liu. Recently, the research task is mainly involved in National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program), NSFC and CAS Projects.
