| About |
Innovation research group of new manufacture process and application of microsphere materials was established in 1991, originated from the research of high reflective index glass microspheres and products made therefrom. The group has developed its major research interests in new manufacture process and application of spherical inorganic materials. Since its establishment, the group has accomplished a number of achievements in the preparation of high reflective index glass microspheres, high performance hollow glass microspheres, and chemical sensors. Up to date, there are many research projects in total completed or being undertaken in the group, including those from the National High-Tech Programmes of China (863-Programmes) and the projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
