About |
Nano-Organic Photoelectronics Laboratory (NOPEL) was established in 2002, which was one of the ten CAS-Hong Kong joint laboratories. The Lab was initiated by Prof. Shuit-Tong Lee (CAS Academician).
The Lab consists of three research groups, and the research areas are mainly focused on: (1) one-dimensional semiconductor nano-materials and devices, (2) organic electroluminescent materials and devices, and (3) molecular recognition and chemosensors. Many important progresses have been achieved and some research results have been published on Angw. Chem., Adv. Mat., Phys. Rev. Letts., etc.. There are 36 members in NOPEL, including 7 Professors, 2 Postdoctoral fellows and 27 Ph. D. students. |
