| About |
Synthesis Photochemistry Group was established in 1999 by Professor Yi Li. The research of the group focus on the photophysical processes and photochemical reactions of organic molecules or supramolecular systems, as well as the new photosynthesis methods and techniques of drugs or fine organic compounds. With the support of National Natural Science Council of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, and Chinese Academy of Sciences, the research of triplet-triplet energy transfer and electron transfer in poly (aryl ether) dendrimers has been carried out in the group, and the results were published on the famous international journals such as J. Am. Chem. Soc., J. Phys. Chem. B, and J. Photochem. Photobio. A Chem. and so on. The group also developed a novel synthesis method of 1α-Hydroxyvitamin D3, which reached advanced international standards.
The group has been furnished not only with the basic synthesis and photosynthesis instruments but also with measurement apparatus such as Hitachi F-4500 spectrometer, Shimadzu UV-1601PC spectrometer, Hitachi HPLC, Bei Fen gas chromatograph, CHI electrochemistry electrochemical analyzer etc.
Till now, there are 12 people in the group, including Professor Yi Li as the director, Dr. Jin Ping Chen, and other 10 Ph. D students. |
