Prof. A. P. Yelisseyev from Institute of Geology & Mineralogy, SB RAS paid a visit to Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry (TIPC),CAS on Aug.17, 2010 and gave a wonderful lecture entitled “Study of defects in crystals”.

In the lecture, Prof. A. P. Yelisseyev introduced his team’s research progress on defects existing in crystal materials, such as nonlinear optical crystal AgGaSe2,laser crystalCr3+:BeAl2O4 , gem crystal and Al2O3 film. They use a variety of methods including Scanning probe, absorption spectrum, fluorescence spectroscopy, fluorescence emission, and so on.

Prof. A. P. Yelisseyev’s research interests are defects in crystals, etc.
