Prof. Itamar Willner from Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Isareal Visited TIPC

Invited by the CAS Key Laboratory of Bio-inspired Materials and Interfacial Science and the TIPC Youth Forum, Prof. Itamar Willner from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Isareal delivered a seminar entitled “Stimuli-Response Materials and Nanostructures” at TIPC on October 16th, 2018.  

Prof. Itamar Willner is an internationally renowned expert in the field of photoelectrochemical biosensor. His research area covers molecular electronics and optoelectronics, nanotechnology, biosensor, supramolecular chemistry and other advanced interdisciplinary fields. During the seminar, Prof. Itamar Willner introduced controllable DNA composite hydrogels and their smart responsivity, including material design and fabrication, response mechanisms, property regulation as well as their related applications. Finally, he enthusiastically discussed with faculties and students of TIPC.
