Invited by the CAS Key Laboratory of Bio-inspired Materials and Interfacial Science and the TIPC Youth Forum, Prof. CHEN Xiaodong from Nanyang Technological University delivered a seminar entitled “Skin-inspired Materials for Conformal Sensors” at TIPC on October 25, 2019.
Prof. CHEN briefly introduced the development, demand and challenge of flexible electronic devices in current society. Then he highlighted his research progress in wearable sensor devices, including rational design and integration of flexible electronic devices. In the Q&A session, Prof. CHEN gave great responses to all the questions.
Prof. CHEN Xiaodong is currently working at NTU as the Associate Dean of Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, and the Director of Innovative Centre for Flexible Devices (iFLEX). His research interests include interactive materials and devices, integrated nano-bio interface, and cyber-human interfaces. He is the Associate Editor of Nanoscale and Nanoscale Advances and Scientific Editor of Nanoscale Horizons.
