Invited by the CAS Key Laboratory of supramolecular photochemistry and the TIPC Youth Forum, Prof. ZHAO Chunchang from East China University of Science and Technology University delivered a seminar entitled “Tumor Imaging and Molecular Diagnostic Probe” at TIPC on 31th December, 2019.
Prof. ZHAO Chunchang became an expert during the past 10 years in the tumor imaging and molecular diagnostic probe. During the seminar, Prof. ZHAO Chunchang firstly introduced the specific BODIPY H2S fluorescent probe in near infrared region I and II. Subsequently, he employed these BODIPY probes in tumor therapy. The selective imaging character enabled the recognition of the tumor and made the therapy more accurately. After the seminar, students and faculties from TIPC discussed with Prof. ZHAO. Also Prof. ZHAO shared many tips and details in the experiments and research process.
After graduated from the TIPC (July 2004, under the supervision Prof. WU Lizhu and Prof. Chen-Ho Tung). Then, he went to the University of Rochester (U.S.A.) to continue his post-doctoral research. In September 2008, Dr. ZHAO joined in the East China University of Science And Technology University as associate professor and as professor in 2010. He published nearly 60 SCI papers, including J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Nano Lett., Chem. Sci., Biomaterials, Anal. Chem., Chem. Commun..
