Professors from Bialystok University of Technology visited TIPC

Update time:2025-07-28

On the invitation of the Thermal Processes and Energy Saving Technology Research Center, Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry (TIPC), Professors Dariusz Butrymowicz and Kamil Śmierciew from Bialystok University of Technology, Poland, visited TIPC on July 17, and delivered academic reports in the 24th “Energy Academy” Series Lecture organized by TIPC.

Professor Dariusz Butrymowicz presented the first report titled "Research and Applications of Liquid-Vapour Injectors in Thermal Engineering," which elaborated on the fundamental principles and historical background of liquid-vapor injectors. Associate Professor Kamil Śmierciew delivered report titled "Cooling System Driven by Industrial Low-Grade Waste Heat: Experimental and Numerical Investigation of an Ejector Refrigeration System,"emphasized future research directions in handling and comparing dispersed experimental data with idealized CFD simulations.

The presentations concentrated on recent advancements in liquid-vapor ejector technologies, offering essential theoretical and practical insights for enhancing energy utilization efficiency and promoting practical applications in ejector refrigeration. After the presentations, the attending faculty and students engaged in active discussions with the visiting professors on topics including operational measurements and CFD simulations of ejectors, and applications in vehicle refrigeration systems, creating an enthusiastic academic atmosphere with positive feedback.
