Resume:
ZHANG Liping, female, was born in 1964 at Changchun, Jilin province. She graduated from the Chemistry Department of Beijing Normal University in 1987 and entered former Technical Institute of Physics And Chemistry, CAS, in 1990. She obtained the master's degree in physical chemistry in 1993 and a doctorate in organic chemistry in 1996. From 1996 to 1998, she was a a postdoctoral in the Department of Medicine and Pharmacy of Korea Research Institute of Chemical & Technology, mainly engaging in the research and development of new methods and technologies for the photochemical synthesis of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and anticancer drug intermediates. In 2000, she was invited by Japan Society for the Promotion of Science to be a senior visiting professor at the Faculty of Science, Hiroshima University, Japan. She is currently the head of Technical Institute of Physics And Chemistry, CAS, doctoral supervisor as well as the member of Committee of Academic Affairs, Committee of Academic Degree and Recruitment team of our institute. She has long been engaged in research in organic photochemistry and synthetic photochemistry. These include the study of photochemical and photo-physical behaviors in special micro-reactors, the use of special micro-reactors to improve the selectivity of photochemical reactions, the study of intra-molecular long-range light-induced electron transfer and energy transfer, and new methods and techniques for photochemical synthesis, etc. A series of innovative results have been achieved. She has published more than 60 papers in core journals such as J. Am. Chem. Soc. and  J. Phys. Chem., and has received extensive attention from peer experts at home and abroad. She also participated in and completed 4 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 major project of the Ninth Five-Year Plan of CAS, 1 key innovation project of CAS, 1 project of 973, and 1 project of 863.

Research Field:
The laboratory has been engaged in organic photochemistry and photophysical processes for many years, and has carried out systematic research on aspects such as micro-environmental and magnetic field effects in photochemical reactions, hydrophobic and lipophobicity effects, photochemistry and photophysics in molecular aggregates, photochemistry of host-guest compounds, and photoinduced electrons transfer and energy transfer, and many innovative results have been obtained. Key research fields include: (1) remote light-induced electron transfer and energy transfer in supramolecular systems; (2) stereoselective studies of photochemical reactions in nanoreactors; (3) application of new methods and techniques for photochemical synthesis Development research; (4) molecular design and application research of organic light functional materials.
